She was a loving mother, grandmother and faithful friend to all. A gentle, kind and caring woman who loved people. An avid sports fan, who would watch every Rockets, Astros and Texan game she could. She cherished the time she spent with her family, especially her grandchildren. Her favorite pastime was knitting, making slippers and baby booties for family and friends, also donating them to local hospitals.
She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Russell Buttitta; brother, Gary Mathia and her parents. She is survived by her two children, Russell S. Buttitta and wife Sherry, Roseann Cambron and husband Greg; two brothers, Larry Soldat and wife Jeannie, Terry Soldat and wife Rosie, along with many nieces and nephews. Last but not least, her 3 grandchildren that she loved so very much; Anthony Buttitta, Nicholas and Kendall Cambron.
Special thanks to all the nurses at Conroe Regional Medical Center Neuro ICU that took special care of her during her illness.
