Martha “Marti” Josefina Rosa Gonzalez-Soto, age 55, passed away Tuesday, May 9, 2017. Born in Nurnberg, Germany, she was a loving mother and grandmother who was a very determined woman to the end. Survived by her lifelong companion, Nikolaus Potts; daughters, Andra Davis, husband Kendall and Yolanda Hail; grandchildren, Jaylin Webb, Nicholas Davis, Elijah Davis, Belicia Hooey, Amira Sereal, and Asia Sereal; mother, Rosa Schier and husband Thompson; father, Joe Soto and wife Florita; sister, Susana Soto; brother, Agustin Soto; numerous nieces and other relatives and friends. The Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held 2:00 p.m., Saturday, May 27, 2017 in the Chapel of Earthman Resthaven, 13102 North Freeway, Houston, Texas 77060
