

December 27, 1937, to the late Don Richard Sanders and Margaret Lovice Sanders, and was the sixth of 8 children. She married Johnnie Provenzano on September 3, 1955, where they resided in Houston until their move to Weimar in 1998.
Martha attended Incarnate Word Academy and Stephen F. Austin Senior High where she graduated in 1955. In her professional career he was Payroll Supervisor at M.D. Anderson Cancer Center. After 15 years of service, she retired and went onto help her sister Wanda and brother-in-law, Walter Ellisor, in their wholesale floral business. Reading, sewing and crafts were her favorite hobbies. Mrs. Provenzano was known to many as being family oriented, strong willed, kindhearted, caring, and always having a beautiful smile with long white hair that everyone loved. She spent her life putting others first and always being there for them. She dearly loved her family, her husband of sixty-five years who passed away on September 28, 2020, her 2 daughters, 4 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
Martha was preceded in death by her parents as stated above, husband Johnnie Provenzano, Jr., two brothers Don Sanders and Thomas Sanders, five sisters Margurete Sanders, Wanda Ellisor and husband Walter, Dora Plagens and husband Truman, Verna Poole and husband Larry, Margie Scott, father-in-law, John Provenzano, mother-in-law, Willard F. Provenzano and brother-in-law's Matthew B. Provenzano and Ross V. Provenzano.
Martha is survived by her daughters, Deborah L. Blue and Lori D. Provenzano; grandsons, Johnathon B. Nunley, and Daniel A. Nunley; granddaughters, Kris C. Jones, and Misty S. Blue; great grandchildren, Syrus A. Nunley and Abigail F. Nunley, sister-in-law, Sandra Provenzano; brother-in-law, Anthony Provenzano and wife Sandra; sister-in-law, Linda J. Marino and husband Bernard; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home, 6900 Lawndale Street, Houston, TX 77023, US, on March 5, 2026, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm.
