A native Houstonian, Maryann resided in Magnolia, TX with her husband Mike Gamble for the last 21 years.
Maryann spent her early career as a labor and delivery nurse. Then transitioned into corporate america during the 80’s and 90’s and the end of her career she was able to share her love of reading as a librarian at the Mitchell Library.
Maryann enjoyed cooking, baking, quilting and traveling. She was a member of the Linus Project where she was able to express her creativity and provide homemade blankets to children in need.
She is survived by her husband of 53 years and 11 months, Mike Gamble, sons Michael “Tony” wife Valeria and Jason Gamble wife Shelley, daughters Geneva Gandy husband Marcus and Theresa Buchanan husband Tom, 10 grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
A Celebration of Maryann’s life will be held at 10 am, on Saturday, July 6, at the Forest Park Funeral Home, 6900 Lawndale St, Houston, TX.
