with her Lord and Savior on June 9, 2022, at the age of 83. Loys, as she was known, served her
community as a pediatric medical administrator and a passionate hospital
volunteer.
Loys Scott is preceded in death by both her parents, Omer and Tressie Faye
Scogin; her sister, Nelda Graham, and her adoring husband of 62 years, Jack Scott.
She is survived by her brothers Glenn Scogin and Harold Scogin, and loving daughters Diane Beene and Sharon Lindsey. Our
sweet Mimi is also survived by her grandchildren; Elizabeth Lenz, Patricia Romero,
Rebekah Beene, Michael Lindsey, and Jackie Lindsey. She is also survived by her
great-grandchildren; Caleb, Emily, Alice, Bryce, Ava, Corbin, Aleksander, Wyatt, and
Miles.
She will be forever in our hearts and we are grateful we had our Mimi with us
as long as we did. We know her memory will forever be a blessing.
