She was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, adoring aunt, and many family and friends cherished her dearly. She loved the color pink—reminding us “Pink isn’t just a color; it’s an attitude!”—and she loved to travel, but her children were her pride and joy, and she loved her family above all else. She was a beautiful spirit with a heart full of compassion, and her life’s work was caring for others.
Michelle is preceded in death by her father, Michael Mora; her grandparents, Dorothy Morales and Carmella & Jesus Mora; and her uncles Elias Mora, Arthur Peña, and Andrew Peña.
She is survived by her husband, Caesar Lopez; her daughter, Makena; her son, Zachary Danger; her mother and stepfather, Florinda & Ray Sanchez; her grandparents, Manuel & Dolores Peña; her brother and sister-in-law, Nick & Erica Mora; nephews, Ian Alvarado-Mora and Max Alvarado-Mora; nieces Emy Alvarado-Mora, Mia Mora, and Luna Mora; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate Michelle's life on Saturday, May 4, 2019, from 1:00-4:00 PM in the Chapel of Angels at Forest Park Lawndale in Houston. Floral arrangements may be sent for Friday delivery to Forest Park Lawndale at 6900 Lawndale Street, Houston, TX 77023.
