Mrs. Sherita Lynn Haynes

On December 1, 1968, Sherita Lynn was born to Constance Durham, in Houston, Texas. Shortly thereafter, Constance united with Terrance Durham, with whom they both lovingly raised Sherita throughout her childhood years.       Sherita began her education in the Houston Independent School District and later received her high school diploma from West Moore High in Daly City, California.   After graduation, Sherita Lynn ultimately returned to her hometown of Houston, Texas, and entered into the workforce. Shortly thereafter, Sherita gave birth to her “bundle of joy”, Jardone’ Sam in 1991. While embarking on her career in retail, she caught the eye of Anthony John Haynes. Anthony and Sherita were later united in holy matrimony. Thru this union, came the birth of their beautiful daughter, Johntavia Antoinette Haynes, in 1994.   Her church affiliation included True Faith Missionary Baptist Church and Progressive Missionary Baptist Church where she was a member until her death.   She was preceded in death by her husband, Anthony Haynes; father, Terrance Durham; grandfather, Lewis Wilson; and aunts: Callie Robinson and Gwendolyn York.   Her memory will forever be cherished by her son, Jardone’; daughter, Johntavia; step-son, Jarvis Caston; mother, Constance Durham; three sisters: Martha Johnson, Veronica Durham-Burke and Felecia Hunter-Howard (Willie Howard); brother, Anthony Durham; grandmother, Cleo Wilson; great aunt, Lulabell Ashley; aunt, Wilma Lynn Wilson; in-laws, Michael and Olevia Sanders, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and Christian friends.
