Father: Frederick James Hoagland (1909-1941) Brother: Donald Mac Hoagland (1939-2012)
She is survived by Brother, Dale Frederick Hoagland & wife, Rosemary Constance Keith Hoagland of Houston, TX; Niece, Tuyet Hoagland Storm & husband, Mark Della Corte of Houston, TX; Nephews, James Keith Hoagland, Fred Matthew Hoagland & great-niece, Elsa Annabell Hoagland, all of Denver, CO. Nadine also has many cousins throughout Texas & beyond.
The family wishes to thank the staff of Sparrow Assisted Living and the staff of the Harris County Hospital District for the good care Nadine received over the past twenty years, especially the staff of Quentin Mease Community Hospital’s Geriatric Clinic and Ben Taub Hospital, who provided care from the time of her stroke on Dec. 2nd to her passing on Dec. 6th. Rosemary Hoagland did an outstanding job of handling Nadine’s finances, medical appointments & personal needs while her brother, Dale, took her to her medical appointments and advocated for her health needs during the past 20 years.
Nadine was a kind and gentle soul who, in spite of her many problems, was a happy person. Her favorite saying was: “Always be a warm person” A short memorial service will be held at Heights Funeral Home, 1317 Heights Blvd., Houston, TX 77008; PH: 713-862-8844 on Tuesday, December 11, 2018. Viewing at 10:30 AM; Service at 11:00 AM.
Nadine will be interred in Cleveland Memorial Park, Cleveland, TX at another time next to her mother.
