Mama Rachael Olufunke Fasae was born to the family of Late Peter and Simisola Fasae on the 19th of April 1933 at Ogotun Ekiti in Ekiti State, Nigeria.
She finished her Standard Six in St. John's Anglican School, Aroloya in Itafaji, Lagos, Nigeria, went to Girls Modern Academy (a private school then) and thereafter proceeded to London to study nursing. She did her P.T.S in Folkstone and her S.R.N.S.C.M. in Dover General Hospital.
She was a pillar of support to all her children and had a big heart filled with love for her siblings, their children, other family members and fellow human beings at large. A hardworking & humble woman, her hands never lacked some sort of work to do and she was always ready and eager to forgive and extend an olive branch. She had a lot of input in raising almost all of her grandchildren and had a positive impact on them all. She was an industrious woman who loved baking.
She was a God-fearing woman who reverenced the Almighty and took her walk with God seriously. Through many trials and tribulations in her journey through life, she always held on to God to show up for her. She taught and showed her children the way of God as the only viable way to live a balanced and fulfilled life.
She was a Mother in Israel & a virtuous woman to the core.
Proverbs 31:10-31 aptly describes Mama Olufunke.
She is survived by her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews and other family members who adore her. She is already being missed by all.
