Oma was a devoted daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose life was marked by faith, service, and dedication to others. She proudly served her country as a World War II veteran and remained deeply committed to honoring fellow veterans throughout her life.
She was an active member of the LDS Church, the Order of the Eastern Star, and the American Legion. Oma proudly served as Commander of American Legion Post 134 in Crocker, Texas, where she devoted countless hours supporting and honoring veterans who served and sacrificed for their country. Through her involvement with the Eastern Star, she also dedicated much of her time to community service and helping others.
Oma is survived by her sister, Mary; her son, Robert; and several beloved nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on May 21, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home. Friends and family are invited to attend and celebrate her life and legacy
