Oscar F. Heyman

Oscar, age 98, of Stockbridge, GA, passed away May 30, 2014. Mr. Heyman was born in Anderson, TX, son of William and Engel Heyman on January 2, 1916. He was a lifelong and faithful member of the Lutheran Church. He was predeceased by his mother and father and five siblings.

He is survived by his loving wife of 25 years, Georgie; four daughters, Nancy Juneman (Marcus), Linda Calvert, Marlene Domann (Buddy), Jackie Jeanes (Don), and one son, Dr. Glenn Heyman (Marjie); seven grandchildren, one deceased, and seven great grandchildren, and one on the way; three stepchildren, Sandra Thompson (Curt), Robert Harrison, Michelle Martin; five step grandchildren and one step great grandchild on the way.

Celebration of Life for Oscar was held on June 6, 29014 at Lord of Life Lutheran Church, 3250 Mt. Zion Road, Stockbridge, GA, Rev. George Earhart, officiating.

The family will continue with celebrating Oscar’s life at 10:30 am on Saturday, July 19, 2014 at the Chapel of Earthman Resthaven Funeral Home, 13102 North Freeway, Houston, TX 77060 with inurnment to follow at Earthman Resthaven Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Amedisys Hospice Care of Newnan, Attn: Christi-Business Office Mgr., 1825 Hwy 34 East, Ste. 2200, Newnan, GA 30263 or Lord of Life Lutheran Church, Stockbridge, GA . He was loved by many and will be greatly missed.
