Pahl & Beverly Meyers

Pahl Bruce Meyers was born October 12, 1935 to parents Henry August Meyers and Kathryn Cramer Hudlow in Houston, Texas. After graduating from Milby High School, he attended University of Houston, majoring in Drafting. During this time he met the love of his life, Beverly Ann Goodman. They were united in matrimony on January 19, 1957 and remained together for their lifetimes. Their marriage produced two daughters, Susan Renee Meyers and Donna Marie Meyers. Pahl enjoyed a wide variety of disciplines, particularly photography and competitive marksmanship, winning awards in both areas. He was also keenly interested in history with an intense interest in World War II.

Beverly Ann Goodman was born on August 10, 1937 in Enid to parents Lewis Olin Goodman and Letha Marie Spaulding. She spent her childhood, along with her brother Rodney, in Oklahoma, New Mexico and Louisiana, before settling in Houston, Texas, where she completed her public schooling. She attended University Of Houston, meeting and marrying, Pahl. In addition to raising her two daughters, Beverly worked as a secretary for Shasta soft drinks for several years. Beverly loved to travel, enjoying trips to Catalina Island, California and South Fork, Colorado among other travels.

Pahl and Beverly are survived by their two daughters and their families. Susan Renee Meyers Byrkett, her husband, Marvin Clint Byrkett, and two children, Riley John Paul and Grace Lillian Julia. Donna Marie Meyers Jones, her husband, Gregory Marvin Jones, and two children, Jacob Dalton Jones and Hannah Mae Jones Turknet, husband, Justin, and two children, Levi and Piper.

A visitation will be held at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home, located at 6900 Lawndale Street, Houston, TX 77023, US. The visitation is scheduled for January 3, 2026, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm.

Following the visitation, a committal service will take place at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery, at 6900 Lawndale St, Houston, TX 77023, US. The committal service is set for January 3, 2026, from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm.
