Palma Antionette DeGeorge

Palma Ricca was born on February 15, 1949, in Houston Texas to Joe Ricca and Ann Marie Bono Ricca. Pam to many of her friends, passed away on November 18th, 2025. She attended Kindergarten at Woodrow Wilson, St. Anne’s Catholic School through 8th grade, and San Jacinto High School, all in Houston. She retired from the Oil and Gas Industry in 2015. She was preceded in death by her husband, Vincent “Sonny” DeGeorge, the love of her life, to whom she was married for 47 years; both of her parents; her beloved sisters, Frances Caskey, Sarah Ricca, and Rosemary Ricca; and her close cousin, Shirley Spears. She is survived by her son, Jason DeGeorge, his wife Anne DeGeorge, and their children Lane and Blake DeGeorge; her stepson, Dwayne DeGeorge, his wife Karen, their children, Daren DeGeorge and wife Dana, Danielle Luedecke, her husband David Luedecke, and their children Brody, Logan, and Luke Luedecke; dear cousins, Antoinette Tompkins, and Anna Marie Colby. Special recognition of her slumber party ladies, dearest friends for over 50 years, Jan, Charlotte, Karen, Diane, Garland, Lyn, Kay, Irene, and Nelda; and her best friends, Charlotte DeGeorge and Mary Jensen. Pam felt blessed that her family and friends remained in Houston and the surrounding areas. She loved you all dearly but was looking forward to reuniting with “her Sonny”.

Visitation will be held at Earthman Resthaven, located at 13102 North Fwy, Houston, TX, 77060, on November 22, 2025, from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm. There will be a video tribute that will be played at 6:00 pm at the visitation. The funeral service will take place at the same venue on November 23, 2025, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am. Following the service, a committal will be held at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home & Forest Park Lawndale, 6900 Lawndale St, Houston, TX, 77023, from 12:00 pm to 12:30 pm. Officiating will be Deacon Fernando.

Serving as pallbearers are Lane DeGeorge, Blake DeGeorge, Daren DeGeorge, Wendell Gosnell, Tony Kuciemba, and Johnny Glenn.
