Pat was very special to me and my husband Edward.   She was a longtime friend and customer in our Shaklee nutrition company.  He rarely took orders but for sure did hers.  When she called, he always said, “let me get my Big Chief tablet and # 2 pencil”.  She loved that answer and it became the trademark of their special friendship.  He passed Feb 9th and I like to think he met her with those two items.  Yes, I am tearing up, but know they are both well and happy.    Fredda Lou Shuquist

I remember Pat as a warm and lovely lady who loved growing beautiful iris flowers.  Her love of beauty and nature made the world a much brighter place, which she gladly shared with all of us.   My deepest sympathies to your family.  May the wonderful memories of Pat sustain you in this time of your sorrow.

Our heartfelt Condolences to you Bob for the loss of your bride of 60 plus years!  And condolences to her sons Robert & wife Daisy, David and wife Joanna, as well as her grandson Britton. We have known your family since I was 13 years old. Pat was always so kind to me and as I grew older we became good friends. She had such talent in sewing and ceramics and I had so much fun going to her craft shows!! We always had fun and laughter!! We vacationed at Possum Kingdom with your family for over 20 years!! These are the memories I will always have of Pat and you Bob and your boys—a lifetime of friendship—a lifetime of sharing—a lifetime of loving each other! I know Pat is at peace and may you all be comforted with that knowledge! Please know we are here if you need anything!!

 As a member of the Iris Society of Austin, TX we so enjoyed having Pat as a member of our group and so appreciated her work with the Iris Society of Austin.  She was a great gift to all of us since she worked as an officer as President and Treasurer.  She was Show Chairman as well as Convention Chairman.  I truly enjoyed working with her.
I know that she is in an iris garden in Heaven.  May she rest in peace!   Many prayers go out to her family!!

My thoughts and prayers are with you all at this time of grieving.  I was sorry to hear the passing of Mrs. Byrne.  She was very nice to me the short time I dated her son in high school.  I often thought of her and your family through the years. May she rest in peace and the Lord be with you all until you meet again.  I understand what you are going through as my mother passed last year. Hugs to all.
