Patricia Anne Selmser

Patricia Anne Selmser, 74, of Houston, TX, passed away surrounded by loved ones on March 3, 2021. She demonstrated substantial strength and resilience throughout her courageous battle with scleroderma and cancer. She fought these illnesses for over a decade but never allowed them to control her life.

Patricia was born to Reginald and Harriette Foote on November 11, 1946, in Columbus, OH. She graduated from Robert E. Lee High School in 1965 and shortly thereafter married the love of her life, George Selmser. They spent the majority of their married life in Houston, TX and celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary this past year.

She is survived by George Selmser (husband), Carol A. Randgaard (daughter), and George Selmser, Jr (son). She has 2 devoted grandchildren (Jessica Danna and Amanda Mitchell) as well as 2 dear great grandchildren (James and Adalyn Mitchell). She will also be fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, other family, and friends. Family was a source of extreme joy for Patricia and her absence will be felt by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her parents and William Foote (brother).

Patricia worked in office administration at Piping Products for 41 years. She developed strong bonds with her co-workers and found fulfillment in her career. She enjoyed collecting Elvis Presley memorabilia and watching her daily soap operas (which she followed until her final days). Her favorite times were family vacations and the special occasions which occurred throughout the year.

Visitation will be held Monday, March 15, 2021 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Funeral service will take place Tuesday, March 16, 2021 at 11:00 AM followed by interment at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery.
