Ecclesiastes 3:1-2 Pinkie made her entrance into life April 17, 1929 in Bethany, LA. . She was the 6th child of 8 children born to Seymore and Janie Ervin .Pinkie transition to eternal rest October 15, 2013. Pinkie's Mother, Father, four (4) brothers, two (2) sisters, one (1) grandson, and two (2) great- great grandsons preceded her in death. Pinkie accepted Christ making God her Lord and Savior at an early age and united with Antioch Baptist Church She later united with Mount Cannan Missionary Baptist Church under Rev. Samuel Compton, Sr.in Houston, TX where she was an actively member until her health failed her. Pinkie received her formal education at Booker T. Washington, Shreveport LA. She later attended Panola Juniors Collage where she received her LVN License. She worked as Nurse for the Memorial Hospital for thirty (30) years until she retired. Pinkie married Webster Lee Brown Sr. in 1947, and to this union six (6) children were born, Beverly Rollins, Dorothy Roberts, Webster Brown Jr., John Brown, Jennetta Flugence, and Carl Brown. She leaves in God's Care to cherish her memories :Three (3) Daughter, Beverly (Leon) Rollins of Duncanville, TX, Dorothy Roberts of Mesquite, TX, and Jennetta Flugence of Houston, TX; Three (3) Sons, Webster Lee Brown Jr., John A. Brown, and Carl E. Brown of Houston, TX.; Eleven (11) grandchildren, thirteen (13) great grandchildren, two (2) great- great grandchildren, brothers Luke Ervin of Dallas, TX, and Frank Roberson of Bethany, LA,; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends; and best friend for life, Mrs. Willie Ruth Preacher.
