Ray Ramirez Sr.

Born and raised in Magnolia Park, Houston, Texas.

Passed away peacefully Sunday, September 8, 2024.

Ray was the owner of Ray Ray's Sports bar in the Northside area of Houston; he was established business owner for over 28 years. Ray was well known throughout the community and very loved and appreciated. He dedicated his life to his establishment that was a favorite Tejano spot to many. Ray loved sports, he enjoyed drinking a cold beer and watching the Houston Astros and his favorite teams were the Raiders, New York Yankees and L.A. Lakers.

He is survived by his wife Mary L. Ramirez. He is survived by his four children; 3 daughters Melissa Narvaez, Stephanie Garcia (husband Sonny), Michelle Zamorano (husband Francisco), and his son Ray Ramirez Jr. (wife Crystal). His surviving siblings; Louis Ramirez Jr. and Linda Ramirez.

Ray had 9 grandchildren; Austin, Noel, and Madylin Zamorano, Nicholas, Natalie and Maxx Garcia, and Ethan, Earon, and Cristian Ray Ramirez.

He also had 1 great grandson Elian Zamorano.

He is preceded in death by his parents Louis Ramirez Sr, and Mary Ramirez, Brothers; Rito Ramirez Sr., and Joe Ramirez, and Son in Law Hugo Narvaez.

A visitation for Ray will be held Sunday, September 15, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home, 6900 Lawndale Street, Houston, Texas 77023, followed by a rosary service at 6:00 PM.
