

Falls, TX. He is survived by his wife Frances, his son Larry, his daughter Beverly Schmidt and
his son-in-law Doyle. They love him very much. Raymond had two Grandsons, Brian Schmidt and Brett Schmidt & wife Jean. He also had two Great Grandchildren, Austin and Derek Schmidt. He will be greatly missed by many nephews, nieces and his many friends. Raymond worked for Houston Light & Power Co. for 40 years. He was a member of St. Matthew’s Methodist Church. Raymond was a proud, longtime member of Reagan Lodge 1037. He was recipient of the Golden Trowel and earned a 32nd degree from Scottish Rite. He enjoyed performing with the Sun Shiners Band for several years. He was a Scout Master for 5 years. Raymond did a lot of woodworking and made many things that he was happy with. He also sold all of his woodworking projects and gave them as gifts. One of his pleasures was his Harley Davidson motorcycle. He had traveled to many places on his Harley and was blessed with a full life. Visitation will be at Heights Funeral Home on Wednesday, January 28th from 5pm - 8pm. Grave side service will be presided over by Pastor Frank Coats on Thursday, January 29th at 2pm in Forest Park Westheimer Cemetery.
