

Bill was an avid outdoors man who enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was an outstanding cook and will be remembered for his delicious barbecue, shrimp boils and many other meals he liked to prepare for all to enjoy. He worked at McGinnis Cadillac for many years where he was a trimmer.
Survived by his family who he dearly loved, sister and brother-in-law, Terri and Harold Simons; brother and sister-in-law, John and Karin Calhoun; nieces and nephews, Tracy Gilliam, Frankie "Sam" Bakkers, Johnna Nance, Richard "Ian" Calhoun, Andrew Calhoun and Patrick Calhoun; numerous grand nieces and grand nephews; uncle; Arthur Lozano and his grandson, Blake; dear friends, Ken and Carol Schaudt.
Visitation with the family was held from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. on Monday, September 4, 2017 at Waltrip Funeral Directors in Houston, where services were held in the chapel at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday. Rev. Bill Cole officiated. The family gathered at 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday in Camp Ruby Cemetery in Livingston, Texas for interment.
