Richard Herman Godfrey, Jr., “Richie”, age 38, passed away, Wednesday, November 13, 2013. Born in Houston, Texas, he loved to fish, to BBQ, and his cats. He had worked at Walmart in Spring for 3 years. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Oliver and Ruth Godfrey, and Glenn and Matha Graham. He is survived by his parents, Richard, Sr. and Louise Godfrey of Houston; his sisters, Sheila Pagel and husband Steve of Spring, Texas, and Sandy Cano and Tony Welch of Spring, Texas; brother, Larry Godfrey and wife Becky of Magnolia, Texas; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Sunday, November 17, 2013 at Earthman Resthaven Funeral Home. The Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be at 12:30 p.m., Monday, November 18, 2013 in the Chapel of Earthman Resthaven. Interment will follow at Earthman Resthaven Cemetery. Pallbearers will be: Stephen Pagel, Jr., Kenny Pagel, Ricky Cano, Ryan Cano, Larry Godfrey, Jr., Joshua Godfrey, Brad Cox, and Wesley Scott. And honorary pallbearer, Tony Salvaggio.
