Rodger David Bubenheim

Rodger Bubenheim, known by his family and friends as Corky, was born on August 4, 1945, in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania to his parents Reinhart Bubenheim and Ruth Taylor. He passed away in Houston, Texas on August 5, 2024, at 79 years old surrounded by his closest loved ones.

Corky went to Spring Branch High School then served in the United States Army. Before retirement, Corky worked at Cameron/Schlumberger where he was an engineer. During his free time, Corky enjoyed hunting, spending time at Lake Somerville, and spending time with his family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents Reinhart Bubenheim and Ruth Taylor, and brother Richard “Dickie” Bubenheim. Corky is survived by his loving wife Judy, of 58 years; and his children Tracy and husband John, Nicole and husband D.J.; five grandchildren, Shelby and husband Tyler, Cheyenne, Dalton, Taylor, and Austin; and two great-grandchildren Aiden and Carson. Corky is also survived by his sister Pamela and husband Channing, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

His Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on August 18th, 2024 at Toddy Oaks 20120 Franz Rd, Katy, TX 77449.
