Roger Lynn Fullen, a beloved and wise man, passed away on July 12, 2025, at the age of 81. Roger was born on September 13, 1943, and was a resident of Spring, Texas. He was known for his kindness and devotion to his family and friends.
Roger graduated from Goose Creek ISD and obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree from Northwestern State University of Louisiana. He served as a United States Army officer and was highly decorated, having been stationed across the U.S. and abroad for 2.5 years and participated in 2 tours in the Vietnam War. As a Vietnam Veteran, he was respected for his service. After his military career, Roger became a production manager for two companies and eventually retired from PCI in 2010.
He was married to the love of his life, Joan Olivia Fullen, for 58 cherished years. Roger was adored by his children: Roger Scott Fullen (Sheila), Staci Tarver (Jeff), Christina Romero (Lindle), Chance Fullen, and beloved sister-in-law Dee Brown. His legacy continues through his grandchildren: Justin, Colby, Tanner, Evan, Caden, Trenton, James, Ashley, and Lakelyn, as well as a number of great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Roger was a kind-hearted and humorous man who loved gardening, family gatherings, cooking breakfast, reading, history, and music. He never met a stranger and always enjoyed life. He was grateful for his family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests potted plants, honoring Roger's love for gardening.
Serving as pallbearers will be Colby Fullen, Tanner Rios, Evan Romero, Caden Rios, Jeff Tarver, and Greg Schwab.
Roger Lynn Fullen will be remembered as a faithful man who touched the lives of many with his hard-working and humorous spirit.
