Sabino graduated from Milby High School and then went on to serve 7 years in the Army National Reserves. He married Dorothy Jane Phillips and together they raised 3 daughters; Vicki Sue, Sheryl Ann and Holly Denise. He later then married Eva Arevalo and had a son; Adrian Dwayne.
Sabino worked as a Clerk/Courier for First National Bank. He began his accounting career working at Smelting and Refinery, Federated Metals for 28 ½ years. W.D. York Inc. Engineering Projects and ended his career at HCA (Hospitals Corporation of America) as a Government Logging Analyst for 19 years. Sabino enjoyed working at yearly church bazaars at Notre Dame Catholic Church. Another church organization he was also affiliated with was TMIY, That Man Is You! He always had a good time deep sea fishing with co-workers from Federated Metals. He enjoyed going to watch Houston Wrestling at the Sam Houston Coliseum on Friday nights and would watch the reruns on Saturday night and Sunday mornings. Some of his hobbies included bowling, tennis and his favorite was dancing to Conjunto Polkas!
He is preceded in death by his parents, Socorro and Savino Arevalo; siblings, Faye Cabellero and Mack Arevalo; as well as his former wife Dorothy Jane Arevalo. Left to Cherish his memory is his wife Eva Arevalo; children, Vicki Chantré, Sheryl Alvarez, Holly Hayes and Adrian Arevalo; Son-in-laws, Wilson Chantré and Tim Hayes; grandchildren, Ashley Hayes (Nelson Banks), Allison Munday (Gurjyot), Tyler Hayes, Joshua Hayes, and Viviana Arevalo; great grandchild, Aleena Denise Munday. He also leaves behind his siblings, Alicia Driscoll and Robert Arevalo.
A visitation for Sabino will be held Sunday, October 10, 2021 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home, 6900 Lawndale Street, Houston, TX 77023, followed by a funeral service from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM.
