Sara Araiza Jess

Sara moved to the Dallas/Fort Worth area in the 70’s. In the early 80’s, she began working for Frito-Lay/PepsiCo. Over her 30+ years with Frito-Lay, Sara worked with several different executives in Finance, Marketing and the Data Group before retiring from the company in 2012. Sara loved working for Frito-Lay and made many lifelong friends there.

In the 90’s, Sara began to travel with her friends across the U.S. and abroad to Italy, France, and to the UK to London and Scotland. Sara loved many things in life including her Family, friends, her kitties Rascal & Hannah Grace, the Cowboys and especially her “little Hannah” (Hicks).

Sara is preceded in death by her parents, Jesus & Nemoria V. Araiza; brothers, David Araiza, Sr. (Elvira), Carlos Araiza (Kathleen) and Daniel V. Araiza (Mary); sisters, Mercedes Lopez (Manuel) and Anita Manzano (Emilio). She is survived by her sister, Nemoria A. Galindo and brothers, Jesus Araiza, Jr. & wife Marjorie, Ernesto Araiza and Felipe Araiza; 19 nieces & nephews and numerous great nieces & nephews and extended family.

A Memorial Service will be held Wednesday, March 26, 2025, at 11 am at Heights Funeral Home in Houston, Texas.
