Dear Brett & Mr. Dickey,
Your mom was a treasure to me and I cherish the memories of her and all her wonderful advice that served me well during my most difficult days.  She inspired me as mother and career woman.  Saying good bye is never easy and is always harder for those of us left behind.  My prayers and love are with your family.

I'm so sad to hear about Sherry.  She was a very unique and special lady.  She was very good to me during our time as partners in business and I'm sure she didn't know how much I appreciated that.  I can still hear her laughter and see that cigarette and can of coke.  I hope you can find comfort knowing she is with the Lord. I can just picture her joy at seeing David.

Mr. Dickey, Brett and Mary,
I am so sorry to hear about Mrs. Dickey. I have so many fond memories of her from back in our teenage years. She was a wonderful lady and always made me feel like one of her own. I know this is an extremely difficult time for you all and I am praying that our lord will grant you the strength to make it through this time of sorrow. Brett....I love you so much and I miss you and the rest of the gang every single day. Your mom was like my second mom growing up and she will truly be missed.

Hey Brett,

So sorry to hear about your mother.  May God bring you some peace and strength during this trying time.  There were many times when she was not only your mother, but all of ours.  I'll cherish all of those memories and make a point to pay special homage to her.  She was a "great" lady with an abundance of love and care she showed all of us growing up.  I am going to try really hard to make it either tomorrow or on Thursday.  I wish you, your father, and the rest of your family all the love and comfort.  Please remember, though, let's remember to celebrate her life while we mourn.
