Stacy Jean Aranda, a beloved resident of Porter, Texas, passed away on January 4th, 2026, at the age of 80. Born in Crockett, Texas, on March 12th, 1945, Stacy was known for her honest, generous, hard-working, and kind-hearted nature. She was a brave and cherished member of her community.
Stacy worked for Chase Bank and later retired from Walmart. Her career also included time at Rein Printing Company, where she met her husband, Johnny. They married in 1967, and she dedicated many years to being a stay-at-home mom. Stacy was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, and she leaves behind a legacy of loyalty and faithfulness.
Her personal interests included a love for slot machines, with Las Vegas and Louisiana being her favorite destinations. Stacy was also a team mom for many students at Humble Middle School and high school, showing her dedication to the community and youth.
Stacy is survived by her children: Bonnie Morgan, Phyllis Kinnamon (Dennis Kinnamon), Johnny Aranda Jr (Lily Aranda), Theresa Leonard (Jesse Leonard), and Carol Tendorf (David Tendorf). She is also survived by her grandchildren: Kristen Aranda, Richard Rodriguez, Jeffery Pope (Jazlyn Pope), Robert Level (Mayra Level), Dr. Kristopher Rodriguez (Dr. Niko Birze), Carissa Rodriguez (John Rodriguez), Crystal Avery, Brett Rodriguez, Lisa Tubbs (John Tubbs), Morgan Aranda, Brittany Tendorf, and Madison Aranda. Her great-grandchildren include Jacob Pope, Jessica Elder, Trinity Level, Jaymie Elder, Leslie Tullos, Jonathon Level, Mackenzie Johnson, Chloe Johnson, Faith Johnson, Kru Thomas, and Joylyn Pope.
Stacy was preceded in death by her parents, David and Oma Workman, and her husband, Johnny Aranda. She is also survived by her brothers, David Workman (Toni Workman) and Charlie Workman (Marlene Workman), and her sister, Gayla Martin.
A visitation will be held on January 9th, 2026, from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm at Earthman Resthaven, located at 13102 North Fwy, Houston, TX 77060. A Celebration of Life will follow from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm at the same venue, with a Committal Service from 3:00 pm to 3:30 pm at Earthman Resthaven Funeral Home & Cemetery.

The family would like to thank you Total Loving Care & Living Waters Hospice for the care and compassion you showed to Mrs. Stacy during her final journey. We appreciate all that was done for her and for the family members too. We are thankful that Mrs. Stacy final days were ones of comfort, peace, and dignity.

Stacy Jean Aranda will be remembered for her kind-hearted spirit and the love she shared with her family and community. Her memory will be cherished by all who knew her.
