Sis. Stella Louise Milligan was born on June 10, 1942 to Florida Mae Milligan in Lexington, Texas (Lee County). She was the second of three children. She attended elementary school in Lexington, Texas and later went to Giddings High School in Giddings, Texas. She graduated as the salutatorian of her class, afterwards she moved to Houston, Texas and went to Texas Southern University.
At an early age she accepted Christ in her life and united with Lexington A.M.E. Church and the leadership of Rev. A. J. Lewis. She later united with Second Baptist Church under the leadership of Dr. Blackshear and later Rev. James Wharton and remained there until her death.
Stella was employed at the VA Hospital until she retired after 25 years. She was united in holy matrimony to Willie Anderson and to this marriage three sons were born. Later she united in marriage to Ernest G. Breedlove and to this union two daughters were born.
She leaves to mourn: One son, Anthony (Debra) Milligan, two daughters, Sharron Breedlove and Latasha (Troy) Trahan, and daughter-in-law Darrell (Lynette) Anderson. Two brothers: Robert (Gladys) Willrich, Leslie (Jeronia) Roberts. Seven grandchildren: Dawnestel Fodeibou and Jasmine Milligan; Raven Beaudoin, Taylor Lewis; Alyssa Anderson; Forrest Trahan and Janiah Trahan. Great-grandchildren: Kholee Adams, Serenity Lewis, Leila Fodeibou, Xavier Lewis, Kalani Pete, Julius Lewis, and Kadence Pete. A host of nieces, nephews, and friends. Her husband (Ernest Breedlove), mother (Florida Roberts), father (James Roberts), grandmother (Cleo Milligan), grandfather (Rufus Milligan), and sons (Forrest and Darrell Anderson) preceded her in death.
She also leaves a very, very, loved, close friend and play sister Mrs. Metifier Blacklock.
