Stephen Anthony Olvera

Stephen Anthony Olvera, born on August 20, 1974, passed away on November 25, 2025, at the age of 51. He was a devoted son, a loyal brother, a loving father, and a man whose presence brought steadiness, warmth, and quiet strength to everyone around him.

Stephen was the beloved son of Nora Valles and Johnny Olvera, and the cherished brother of Johnny Olvera. He was preceded in death by his father Johnny Olvera and significant other, Emerald Serna.

He is survived by his five children, whom he loved with his whole heart:

Xavier (16), Karen (15), Samantha (14), Natalie (12), and Gabriel (6).

To his children, he was not only a father but a leader, protector, and constant source of unconditional love.

He is also survived by a large, loving circle of aunts, uncles, and cousins who cherished him deeply and hold countless memories of his warmth and generosity.

For 13 years, Stephen proudly served as Shipping and Receiving Manager for Tubular Services, where he was known for his diligence, reliability, and professionalism. His coworkers knew him as well-spoken, friendly, and someone who could always be counted on.

Stephen’s passions were rooted in his hometown spirit — he loved cheering for the Houston Texans, Houston Astros, and the Houston Rockets. His intelligence, kindness, patience, and generous nature touched all who knew him.

At home, Stephen was a son his mother deeply loved and was incredibly proud of. As a brother, he was respectful, dependable, and steady. As a father, he had more than enough love to give — always present, guiding, and putting his children first.

Stephen leaves behind a legacy of loyalty and unwavering love for his family. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
