Stephen is preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth Powers; brother, Robert Vincent Powers. He is survived by his son, Shawn Powers (Samantha Roman); granddaughter, Melody Elizabeth Powers; siblings, Mary Therese Powers Watts, Richard Warren Powers, and John Patrick Powers.
