I had the opportunity many many years ago to hire Steve for a job and several years after that he had an opportunity to bring me into a job that he was working on and we did that several other times as well. Through the years we would touch base periodically. Steve was always obnoxious, but I loved him for his own and special self and I would like to say I could consider him a friend.  I realized recently I hadn’t heard from him in a while and when I tried to reach out, of course couldn’t find him anywhere and so I thought I’d check obituaries and so sorry to hear that be passed and that that was so many years ago as well anyway to his family I know you still miss him and always well and I will miss him as well.

Steve was a good friend and always with a helping hand as a neighbor.  He was always working in his garage, giving my husband, Carter to stop by and say hi!  He will be greatly missed!   Our heartfelt condolences to all his family.  Carter and Cecilia

I knew Steve as a neighbor.  I would like to stop by his house after a long bike ride and solve the problems of the world with him.  I enjoyed seeing some of the mechanical projects he was 
working on.  I do not have any mechanical abilities and am always impressed with someone who can fix 
anything. 

 Steve would also quiz me on computers and programming languages.  Once we were  discussing the move “Wall Street” with Michael Douglas and he went into the house and showed me the exact same model phone Michael Douglas used.  A brick sized phone that would astound anyone today.

I discovered recently that Steve liked to cook.  Steve, my wife and I had Thanksgiving together.  Steve volunteered to cook the turkey.  He bought not one but four blue tooth enabled thermometers that he watched from his phone.   He called it “Franken Turkey”.  He didn’t need to call Butterball turkey.  He 
knew what to do.   He also made scallop potatoes and green beans a la Steve.

Steve was more than a neighbor.   He was a friend.


Steve, you were a wonderful and kind neighbor. Thank you for being a helping hand, a friend to our dogs, a bright smile everyday. We will miss you. Rest In Peace. 

Steve really lended a helping hand to his neighbors after the Hurricane Harvey floods. Steve, I can still hear your laugh! It just doesn't seem right to walk the dogs by your place and not see you hanging out in your man cave!

May the Lord bless and keep you Steve! We had great times, good times, and not so good times - through it all, we remained friends!
