

Tony was born to Rita Salas Jalomo and Tomas Nieto Jalomo, September 3, 1941, in Houston, Texas. He graduated from Jeff Davis High School in 1961 in Houston, Texas. He married the love of his life Irma Savedra in 1965, and they lived together in Houston, Texas. Together they raised six children. He was dedicated to his spouse, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchild in all aspects of their lives.
He is survived by his children, son Joe Anthony Jalomo, daughter Brenda Jalomo Mendez & spouse Jose Mendez, Jr., daughter Rachel Jalomo Rios, son Michael Thomas Jalomo, son Christopher Jalomo & spouse Brent Smith, and son Anthony Rene Jalomo & spouse Gina Valerio Jalomo, and grandchildren: Marissa Mendez, Jose Mendez, III, Roman Rios, II, Erica Rios, Julian Rios, Garrick Rios, Alyssa Jalomo, Jasmine Jalomo, Madison Jalomo, Michael Jalomo, II, Justin Stephens, Blake Stephens, and Scarlett Jalomo and great-grandchild Sophia Mejia, their two loving cats Gizmo and Bella, and Cuddles the Hamster. He also leaves to cherish his memory, his brother Ismael Jalomo & spouse Isabel, and countless nieces, nephews and friends.
He is preceded in death by the love of his life, spouse Irma Savedra Jalomo, parents Tomas & Rita Jalomo, siblings Manuel Jalomo, Sr. & spouse Guadalupe; Amada Jalomo Bernal & spouse Victor, Sr.; Lucia Jalomo Alvarado; and Tereso Jalomo.
Tony was a huge Houston Oiler and Astros fan. We will treasure those moments he spent yelling at the TV. Both Tony and Irma spent many years taking care of their grandchildren as they were actively involved in their lives. They took great pride in their children, grandchildren, and great grandchild.
Visitation is scheduled January 2, 2022 at 5:00 pm with the Rosary following at 7:00 pm at Forest Park Lawndale in Houston, Texas.
A funeral mass will be held January 3, 2022 at 11:00 am at St. Christopher Catholic Church at 8150 Park Place Blvd in Houston, Texas.
The interment will follow at Forest Park Lawndale in Houston, Texas.
