Ulysses Saxon Grant was born July 19, 1965 to Mr. Otis Grant Sr., and Betty J. Grant. His father Otis Grant Sr. preceded him in death. He was the youngest of four brothers, and three sisters. Saxon departed this life on December 9, 2020.
Saxon attended Chinquapin High School; he’s an accomplished electrician by trade; built parts for oil fields in Midland, TX; and recently received his CDL license to become a truck driver.
Saxon was very talented; his favorite hobbies were cooking, fishing, swimming, playing baseball, writing poetry and also loved music.
He leaves to mourn his passing his mom Betty J. Grant, his three sisters Linda Harvey(Louis), Carolyn Jackson, and Suzanne Taylor(Joseph); three brothers, Otis Grant Jr(Denise), Donald C. Grant(Angela), and Eric A. Grant. He also leaves behind three children, JerMarcus Wynn; two daughters, Tatyanah Grant and Haliey Gladney; His nieces and nephews: Eugene, April, NaTosha, Terrance, Dionna, Otis III, Donald Grant Jr., Dominique, Eric Jr., Andrew, Jasmine, William, Kimberely and Ebony. He also leaves behind a host of cousins and other relatives and friends.
