

Vincent was a native Houstonian. He graduated from St. Thomas High School in Houston Class of 1957. He always had a bright smile and generous laugh for everyone around him. He loved sports and played football, basketball & baseball thru out his school years. He enjoyed the outdoors fishing on his boat being on the water, hunting in the winter time and following sports.
He was in the grocery business and was co-owner of Mandola’s Grocery from 1969-1980. Then was co-owner of Mandola’s Brothers Deli from 1981-2001. He made numerous friends over the years between his two jobs and really enjoyed interacting with all his customers. He never missed a day of work and worked till his illness wouldn’t allow him to do so any longer.
Vincent and his bright smile and warm nature will be missed dearly by all who knew him.
He was proceeded in death by his parents, Frank Vincent Mandola and Lucy Palazzo Mandola; and sister, Marguerite Mandola Maxwell.
He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Margaret Mandola; son, Vincent Frank Mandola Jr. and wife, Margaret Hoppe Mandola, son, Steven Mandola; brother, Sammy Mandola and wife Rose Ann.

A visitation will be held on Monday, May 11, 2015 from 5pm-9pm, with a rosary at 7pm at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home.
Funeral Mass will begin at 10;30am, Tuesday, May12, 2015 at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 6800 Buffalo Speedway, Houston, Texas 77025. Burial will follow at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery.
