VIRGINIA ALICE HOPPER peacefully passed away while surrounded by family and friends on Friday, May 21, 2010. She went to be with the Lord while holding her daughter's and husband hands. She was born on August 15, 1932 in Alta Loma, Texas to Benjamin and Mabel Leining who preceded her in death. Virginia was vivacious and beautiful and will be best remembered for her unselfishness and caring abilities to all who knew her while she was surrounded by her angels.The family takes comfort in knowing that Virginia is with so many loved ones who preceded her in death including her son, Robert E Jewett. Virginia is survived by her husband, Donald G. Hopper and two children, daughter Carla A .Jewett and step-son Greg W. Hopper. Virginia is also survived by her two sisters, Eleanor Roberts and Carol Anne Hruzek. The family also wishes to thank everyone for their prayers, compassion, and support during Virginia's illness.The viewing is scheduled for Tuesday, May 25, 2010, from 5:00 7:00pm. The graveside services will be held at 12:00-1:30pm on Wednesday, May 26, 2010. The viewing and burial will be conducted at Forest Park Lawndale located at 6900 Lawndale Avenue in Houston, TX.
