Wesley Buckley Silas Jr. was born February 2, 1960 in Wolfe City, Texas to the late Wesley and Clara Silas. Wesley was the first of four children. Wesley accepted Christ early in life at Ebenezer Baptist Church under the Leadership of the late Rev. John Williams. Wesley attended Lincoln High School in Port Arthur, Texas and graduated in 1979. Shortly after graduating he enlisted in the United States Army where he served for three years. He worked at the City of Houston as an auto mechanic for several years. He leaves to cherish his beloved memories his siblings Veda and William Calvin Silas, his Niece, Britney Silas; Nephew, James Silas Jr.; one Great Niece, Aubry and one Great Nephew, Terrance. His loving Great Aunt, Susie Williams and her Daughters, Lynn Wood, Nona Fisher, Anita Gates and their families. Aunts Elaine Armstrong and Betty Mitchell and their families.
