.Bobby Gene Hicks, 79, passed away peacefully, Sunday, December 20, 2015. Bobby Gene Hicks was preceded in death by his parents, Newman and Mollie Hicks, 1 sister and 3 brothers. Bobby is survived by his wife, Myrtle L. Hicks; daughter, Rhonda (Don) Stephan; granddaughter, Kristen (Joey) McQuiston; grandson, Justin Stephan; 3 great grandchildren, Kaleb McQuiston, Kaley McQuiston and Kobey McQuiston; as well as many nieces, nephews and friends. He will be dearly missed. Bobby loved playing cards and visiting at the local Senior Center. He was also a long time member of the Chase Missionary Baptist Church. Visitation will be Tuesday, December 22, 2015 6-8 pm at Valhalla Funeral Home with Funeral services Wednesday, December 23, 1 pm at the Chapel. Brothers Larry and Paul Johnson will officiate the services. Pall bearers are, Jessie Hutchens, Gary Simmons, Hunter Boyett, Mikey Lambert, Brandon Johnson and Brent Johnson.
