David Milton Sisk, 83 of New Market, AL passed away at his home on Saturday, February 2, 2019 surrounded by his loving family. Mr. Sisk was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Lorene Farrow Sisk; two sisters, Maoma Massey and Shirley Tanner.
Left to cherish his memory is the love of his life, his wife, Amelia; son, Brian Sisk (Cherry), along with their children, Connor Sisk and Dylan Sisk; son, Andy Sisk. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
David served our country in the US Army, and after his military service, he began a career at NASA where he worked until his retirement. After retirement, David opened up Madison Lamp Shop and Antiques and then moved his business to New Market and opened New Market Lamp Shop and Antiques.
You may visit with the family on Monday, February 4, 2019 from 1:00pm until 2:00pm at Valhalla Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held in Valhalla’s Chapel at 2:00pm. Interment will follow at Valhalla Memory Gardens in the Valor Garden. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 in David’s honor.
