

Mr. Prigmore is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Karin Prigmore; two daughters, Anita (Tad) Erb of Harvest, AL, and Shirley (John) Pflasterer of Tampa, FL; son, David (Tanja) Prigmore of Huntsville; two brothers Jay and Danny Prigmore of Texas; six grandchildren, Timothy (Amber) Reeves of Nashville, TN, Natasha Erb of Harvest, AL, Chad Erb of Harvest, AL, Michelle Prigmore of Huntsville, Tala Erb of Harvest, AL, and Nicholas Pflasterer of Tampa, FL.
“Dee” was a proud US Army paratrooper with over 20 years of service in both Vietnam and the 82nd Airborne. After active duty he continued in Civil Service with the Department of Defense for another 20 years until his retirement. He liked fishing and especially Volksmarsching (a German tradition), and also traveling places in his motor home. He loved family and the Dallas Cowboys and preparing a full course Thanksgiving dinner every year. He was dearly loved and will be missed by many.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, June 30, 2014 at the Lamb of God Lutheran Church on County Line Road in Madison, AL at 7:00 PM, officiated by Pastor John Roebke. US Army military rites service and inurnment will be Tuesday, July 1, 2014 commencing at 2:00 PM at Faith Memorial Park in Madison, AL. Please sign the guest registry at www.valhallafunerals.com.
