

October 15, 1937 – August 20, 2015
Donald Ray Sadler, Sr. 77 of Huntsville, passed away peacefully August 20, 2015. Mr. Sadler was preceded in death by his parents Hugh Sadler and Elsie Abernathy Sadler; two sisters, Doris Hood and Nancy Alsip. He is survived by his loving wife Frieda Brown Sadler; one son, Donald Ray Sadler Jr.; two daughters, Debra (John) Gilbert and Angela Sadler Siebert (late Jack Siebert Jr.); one grandson, Aaron Smith; two step grandchildren, Kenneth Siebert and Jennifer Siebert; one great grandson, Bryant Smith; two step great granddaughters, Madison Siebert and Kalei Barnes and several nieces and nephews.
Donald loved God and his family and always put God first. He was a member of Chase Park Church of Christ. Mr. Sadler was a United States Navy Veteran. He worked as a manager for FW Woolworth for 39 years. He was known as “Nut Man” at the Von Braun Civic Center where he worked part time. He loved sports and coached Little League Baseball and Special Olympics Basketball. Donald was a member of Lake Tansi RV Park in Crossville, TN.
