Dorothy T. Durham, age 96, of Huntsville, Alabama passed away on Monday May 13, 2019. Dorothy was born February 23, 1923 in Huntsville, AL to Ernest and Velma Troupe.

Dorothy worked in Huntsville for the U.S. Army for many years. She would meet and marry Tom Durham Jr. and be blessed with a large family. Later in life Dorothy loved to travel the United States and especially enjoyed trips to the beach with her family.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, husband Tom Durham Jr, children; Susan Durham, and Ernest Durham, granddaughter Sheri Puckett, and brothers; Duncan and Leon Troupe.

Dorothy is survived by three sons; Tom III and wife Tamara Durham; Steve and wife Kim Durham; and Philip and wife Jennifer Durham, many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

A graveside service for Dorothy will be held Friday, May 17, 2019 at 11:00 AM at Valhalla Memory Gardens, 698 Winchester Rd Ne, Huntsville, Alabama 35811. In lieu of flowers you may donate to St. Jude or Children’s Hospital of Alabama.
