Shortly afterwards, Edna went to work for the F.B.I. in Washington, D.C. Later she worked for NASA at Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville, Alabama. In fact she was working for NASA when we first landed men on the moon in 1969. She completed her civil service career with the U.S. Army at Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville and retired with 311/2 years of service.
Edna was a committed follower of Jesus. Her life served as an example of a Christ-follower. She exemplified character and integrity flowing from the Holy Spirit living within her. She was honest, moral, caring, and hard working. She was an avid student of God's Word and enjoyed a strong prayer life, particularly for her family. She loved all of her family and kept in contact with them to the best of her ability.
For the past 17 years Edna lived near her son, Larry, and his family.
