James is survived by his loving wife of 54 years Kwang Cho Stallworth, daughter Jennifer (neé Stallworth) McMickle (Jeremy), grandson Dylan McMickle, siblings Clara Ussery, Elbert Stallworth (Connie), Barbara Massey (Donnie), Evelyn Jackson, Elvis Billups (Neil), Debra Brantley (John). He is preceded in death by his siblings Elizabeth Fannin, Vera Wright and Charlene Fields. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
A visitation will be held at Valhalla Funeral Home, located at 698 Winchester Rd NE, Huntsville, AL 35811, on Friday, February 27, 2026, from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm. Following the visitation, a Celebration of Life will begin at 3:00 pm. James will be laid to rest at Valhalla Memory Gardens with Full Military Honors.
