

He was born in Berlin, New Hampshire on February 10, 1946. He was preceded in death by his wife of 57 years Ruth Ann Tremblay, his parents Joseph Tremblay and Ida Belanger, and his brother Robert “Bob” Tremblay.
Left to cherish his memory are sons Joseph Tremblay III and Michael Tremblay (Jennifer), grandchildren Devin Tremblay (Sarah), Elise Tremblay (Matthew), and Alexandria Graham (Joshua), great-granddaughters Sydney and Selena Tidwell, great-grandson Jaxson Tidwell, his sisters Priscille Simpson, Jeanne Royer, and Irene Tremblay.
Joe retired from the Army and civil service. Not one to sit idle, he pursued farming, running RJ Gardens where he raised various farm animals, berries, vegetables and flowers which he sold at the Madison County Farmers Market on Cook Avenue. Later changing direction to focus on his avid enjoyment of fly fishing. He was a member of the Tennessee Valley Fly Fishers which he served in multiple positions.
A Celebration of Life for Joe will be held Friday, August 26, 2022 at 4:00 PM at Valhalla Funeral Home, 698 Winchester Rd Ne, Huntsville, Alabama 35811 with family and friends gathering one hour prior.
In lieu of flowers, please consider donations in memory of Joseph Tremblay to Operation Green Team in Huntsville, AL or Outdoor Heritage Museum in Oquossoc, ME.
