Loretta Irene Kendrick

She was a resident of Huntsville, Alabama for many years and was born in Johnson City, Kansas on April 23, 1940. Loretta retired in 2000 where she enjoyed a twenty year career at Mallinckrodt in St. Louis, Missouri.

After retirement and moving to Huntsville, she was an active member in her church and assisted with the Manna House - Food Distribution Center. She was known for her tenacious spirit, her dry and witty humor, her gregarious personality, and her love of family.

Loretta is survived by her loving children, Lori (daughter) and Gary Steensgard and Lance (son) and Michelle Kendrick; her cherished grandchildren, Sarah Marie and Jill Nicole Minnihan; Jake (Bayley), Danni, and Taya Kendrick; and her precious great-grandchildren, Avery Jade Saile and Julia Ashlyn Kendrick.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Alzheimer's Association in memory of her beloved husband of 46 years, Richard Allen Kendrick. Visitation for Loretta will be held Tuesday, April 2, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at Valhalla Funeral Home, 698 Winchester Rd Ne, Huntsville, Alabama 35811.
