Sweet, sweet Peggy. I remember all of the times we shared with my mamaw, Estelle, underneath your carport! 
I remember you would give me candies in exchange for all the plums I would pick from the tree in our yard! There was never a day I didn’t stop by to visit. Nana would come by too and mamaw of course was ALWAYS there! You crossed my mind today, I’m missing you! 
You were there for some of my most precious childhood memories and I miss you. I love you! I know you loved me just as much! 
I hope you and mamaw have met again. I can see you both now chatting it up underneath the carport talking about anything and everything. I miss hanging out with you and watching you feed all those precious squirrels! Even the pigeons loved you! 
You are a beautiful soul and I am so happy we were able to spend much time together. I’ll never forget those days- you were a blessing in my life. Oh boy how I miss you!

Oh Peggy, I was 6 when you died but I can still remember everything about you, the fun trips we had, and all the times I would go over to your house everyday from my apartment. I’ll always have a place for you in my heart, always. I still have the box of your things on my dresser, and the little Siamese cat figure. It brings tears to my eyes whenever I think about how you said that I was the reason you lived longer, I love you so much and miss you.

I had the pleasure of knowing Peggy through Houston and Mary Newton. Working at both the Mirage and Bellagio in Las Vegas I truly enjoyed spending time with them during their vacation. They were some of my favorite customers. We shared many laughs. They were remarkable people. I will always cherish their friendship. Debbie Richards, Las Vegas Nevada

Peggy and Vernon meant so much to me & Charles.  We went to Florida together way back with the Miles, Pardees, Rhonda & Emmet Given and had a blast!!  I have many fond memories of both Peggy & Vernon. My warmest love & Sincere Condolences to all the family

I am so sorry for your loss. My grandmother, Ruth was very close to Peggy and Vernon. I had planned to visit with Peggy after seeing her at a funeral about a year ago. She was telling me stories about my grandmother and said she had some photos of my grandmother on reel. Unfortunately I never got to make that visit. My other Grandmother Toby and Grandfather Sonny knew Peggy and Vernon too. I believe Vernon studied with my Papa Sonny. They knew each other in the 60's. God feels for you in your pain. (Psalm 34:18) With deepest sympathy.

Oh how we will miss Peg. Peggy was more more then a  neighbor she was a grandmother to Wayne and I. I will miss our long evening talks on the phone, seeing you sweep the driveway. running across the street to check the air or cable or anything else that might need to be done. Peggy your smile and laugh could make any bad day a better day. We love you and will miss you tons.

To the Dunham Family: My heartfelt sympathies go out to the family and friends during this difficult time. I hope that the promise in 1 Thessalonians 4:14 can bring comfort. Knowing that there's a hope for the ones we have lost in death can be so reassuring.

I will miss seeing Peggy and grandmother sitting outside talking the night away. Peggy had a sense of humor bigger than life, and laughter that was oh so contagious.  Her sweet nature will be remembered by many for years to come. I have known her all of my 39 years, and she has been close friend and neighbor to my grandparents for 65 years.  She is family.
We will miss you, but never forget you.

A beautiful lady who touched many lives.  Her love will transcend the years through the souls she touched.
