RET SFC Richard Lloyd Shook Sr.

Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 61 years, Faye R. Shook; sons, Michael Shook, Richard Shook Jr. (Ginger); daughters, Jennifer Hargrave (Kenneth), Kelly Gardner (Thomas); grandchildren, Megan & Darrell Ducote, Branden & Marlana Hargrave, Joseph & Charlie Gardner, Richard III & Samantha Shook; great grandchildren, Alyssa McMurray, Lillian Ducote, Aylla & Harrison Hargrave, Pippa & Miles Gardner; brothers, Robert Shook (Margie), Orson Rumsey, Randy Rumsey (Kim); sister, Cindy Rumsey.

Richard was a retired Army Veteran. He was a member of the Sheriff’s Posse of Madison County. He loved his family dearly and will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

You may visit with the family on Wednesday, August 19, 2020 from 12:00pm until 2:00pm at Valhalla Funeral Home. Funeral Services, officiated by Bro. Mitchell Gardner will begin at 2:00pm in Valhalla’s Chapel. Interment, with full military honors will follow at Valhalla Memory Gardens.
