Virginia Louise East September 4, 1930 – September 25, 2015 Virginia (Jean) Louise East, 85 of Huntsville passed away September 25, 2015 surrounded by her loving family. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; Jimmy East, Sr. and 6 brothers. Mrs. East is survived by her two daughters; Cherie East Kennedy and Janus East Hardin both of Huntsville, AL, one son; Jimmy East, Jr. of Flintville, TN, one sister; Judy Hill Smith of Chickamauga, GA, 8 grandchildren; Candy Kennedy McCain, Brian East, Trone Kennedy, Jason East, Brandi Schaper, Chad Bratcher, Jamie East and April East, 14 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. Mrs. East was a member of Chase Baptist Church as well as a member of the B Team Angels. “Gigi”, as she was known by many, was a very devoted Christian who helped everyone in need. She loved flowers and also enjoyed gardening. You may visit with the family on Sunday, September 27, 2015 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Valhalla Funeral Home.
