So much can be said about Uncle Wes. I will always remember how excited the family would be whenever he would come back home to visit., as was I. He was a visionary that always strived to be the best that he could be. Mom and Dad spoke often of the times when Uncle Wes lived with them, always with a smile on their faces. I only wish that I could have spent more time with him.
I’m sure that the old gang is back together laughing and having a great time now that they are back together minus the great one we still have left.
You will be missed.

While my limited memories of Great Uncle Wes are of when he would come to family gatherings in Rowlesburg, as a small boy it was always very impressionable when Uncle Wes arrived! You could see it as well when my grandmother Violet would talk about him. He may not have known it, but he was a big inspiration to so many of us. I know personally he set a bar that I have strived to reach for. He just inspired me and many others to be successful and it was just known that the way you get to be successful was to work hard and have a great work ethic! Uncle Wes' presence just made you want to do that! Sending all of our thoughts and prayers to the whole Rogers family, praying that you find comfort and peace in this time.

Wes was a mentor and a good friend. I worked with him in several companies, and he was a good leader. Even when he wasn't feeling well, he would continue to work. His work ethic and support are an inspiration to us all. He will be sorely missed.

When I was younger I spent a lot of time with Aunt Audrey and Uncle Wes. He was a great man, always kind and considerate of others. He used to go out of his way to help anyone in need. The world has lost a great man. Lots of love and prayers to my Aunt and the family. Your niece, Debbie
