Dorothy "Bunny" Lee

Dorothy Anne Lee, known to all as “Bunny,” passed away on Saturday, March 18, at the home of her son David in Indianapolis. Born in Bedford, England on March 19, 1945, she was the daughter of Michael Stephen Berkes of Hammond, Indiana, and Dorothy Agnes (Button) Berkes of Bedford, England. The oldest of five siblings, Bunny grew up in Beverly Shores, Indiana. She was married for forty-two years to Earl Lynn Lee of Indianapolis, who preceded her in death. She will be remembered for her humor and her generosity. Bunny is survived by two sons, Chad F. Dunwiddie (Stephanie) of Cincinnati, and David M. Lee (Garrett Hutson) of Indianapolis; two step-grandchildren, Logan Taylor of Cincinnati, and Paige Holder (Clayton) of Austin, TX; one brother, Michael Berkes of Portland, OR; and three sisters: Stephanie Berkes, Penelope Bushman, and Jayne Berkes, all in Arizona. Visitation will be April 1st from 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM at Leppert Mortuary, 740 E. 86th Street, Indianapolis.
