Gilbert Bunton, 91, of Indianapolis, passed away October 23, 2023. He was born October 10, 1932 in LaPorte, Indiana to the late Gilbert Bunton, Sr. and Marjorie (Rehlander) Bunton. He was a graduate of LaPorte High School. Gil was self employed as a hair dresser and worked with three different salons in his career. Later on, Gil was employed at Exciting Liting Lamp Store in Nora. He was a member of the National Association of Hairdressers and Cosmetologists.
Gil is survived by his daughters, Jenelle Elizabeth Bunton and Shelley Marie Bunton. He was preceded in death by his wife, Viola Jane Bunton, who passed in March of 2018.
